Email Preferences

Choose which optional emails you receive — and which required messages always arrive

Laureo sends two kinds of email: required service messages that keep your account working, and optional emails you can turn on or off. Manage the optional ones under Settings → Email Preferences. For per-event notification settings (mentions, task reminders, deal updates), use Settings → Notifications instead.

Optional emails

These are off-by-toggle and never affect your account. Each can be enabled or disabled anytime:

  • Getting started — welcome and setup guidance to help you get value quickly.
  • Product tips & updates — occasional tips, feature announcements, and best practices.
  • Check-ins — friendly nudges if you have been away for a while.

Required emails (always on)

These are service messages tied to your account and cannot be turned off. They keep arriving even if you unsubscribe from everything optional:

  • Security alerts — password changes, sign-in method changes, and MFA updates.
  • Account & billing — receipts, payment issues, renewals, and team invitations.
  • Bookings & support — meeting confirmations and support ticket replies.

Unsubscribing

Every optional email includes a one-click unsubscribe link, and supported mail clients (Gmail, Yahoo, Apple Mail) show a native Unsubscribe control in the message header. Using either one updates your preferences immediately. You can also open the unsubscribe page from any optional email to fine-tune individual categories rather than turning everything off.

One-click is per-category
Clicking the native Unsubscribe control on a specific email turns off just that category. To stop all optional email at once, use Unsubscribe from all optional emails on the preferences page. Required account, billing, and security messages are never disabled.

Why you receive these

Optional lifecycle and product emails are sent on the basis of our legitimate interest in helping you get value from Laureo, and you can opt out of any of them at any time. Required messages are transactional and are sent because they are necessary to operate your account. See the Privacy Policy for the full disclosure.
