Schedule activities and events from the calendar
Creating Events from the Calendar
Click on any time slot or date to schedule a new activity.
The fastest way to schedule an activity is directly from the calendar. In day or week view, click on a time slot to open the activity creation form pre-filled with that date and time. In month view, click on a day cell to create an event for that date. You can also use the Add Activity button in the calendar toolbar to open the form without a pre-selected time.
Activity Types
Choose the type of activity that best describes the interaction.
- Call — Schedule a phone call with a contact. Record the planned duration and add notes about the call agenda.
- Meeting — Set up an in-person or virtual meeting. Include attendees and meeting details in the description.
- Email — Schedule a follow-up email to be sent at a specific time. Use this as a reminder to send the email.
- Task — Create a time-bound task that appears on both the calendar and the tasks list.

Editing Events
Modify the details of an existing calendar event.
To edit a scheduled activity, click on the event block in the calendar to open the detail panel, then click the Edit button. You can also access Edit from the hover preview popup or the right-click context menu. The unified activity modal opens in edit mode with all current values pre-filled. Make your changes and click Save to update the event. You can change the type, subject, time, duration, description, linked CRM records, color, attendees, or sync settings.
If the activity is synced to an external calendar, edits are automatically pushed to the external event. This includes updates to attendees and recurrence rules, which are synced in both directions on every save. The edit mode shows sync status indicators (see Sync Status Badges) so you can see whether the activity is currently synced and what will happen when you save.
You can also reschedule events by dragging them on the calendar. In week, day, and 4-day views, drag the bottom edge of an event to resize it. See Drag-and-Drop Rescheduling for details.
Deleting Events
Remove an activity from the calendar.
To delete an event, click on it to open the detail panel and then click the Delete button. You will be prompted to confirm the deletion. Deleting an activity archives it in the CRM and removes it from the timeline of any linked company, person, or opportunity record. If the activity was synced to an external calendar (Google Calendar or Outlook), the corresponding event is also removed from the external calendar automatically.
