Switch from Salesforce to Laureo
Import your accounts, contacts, opportunities, and custom fields in an afternoon. No consultants required.
Why teams switch from Salesforce
Salesforce pain point
Expensive per-user licensing
Laureo advantage
Laureo costs a fraction of Salesforce per seat and includes email, automation, and reporting in every plan. No add-on SKUs.
Salesforce pain point
Requires a dedicated admin
Laureo advantage
Laureo is self-serve. Settings, custom fields, pipelines, and roles are all configurable through an intuitive UI without a consultant.
Salesforce pain point
Months of implementation
Laureo advantage
Import your data, configure your pipelines, and go live in a single afternoon. No multi-month implementation projects.
Salesforce pain point
Cluttered UI with years of feature bloat
Laureo advantage
Clean, modern interface designed for speed. Every screen loads in under a second and shows only what your team needs.
Migration steps
Export your data from Salesforce
Use Salesforce Data Loader or the built-in Data Export service (Setup > Data Export) to download Accounts, Contacts, Opportunities, and Activities as CSV files. For custom objects, export each object separately.
Prepare your CSV files
Salesforce exports include internal IDs and formula fields. Remove formula columns, map Salesforce "Account" to Laureo "Company," and rename "Opportunity" to "Deal" if needed. Ensure email addresses are clean and deduplicated.
Create your Laureo account
Sign up at app.laureo.io. Configure your organization, invite team members, and set up roles. If you used Salesforce profiles, map them to Laureo roles (Sales Manager, Sales Rep, Marketing, etc.).
Import contacts and companies
Go to Settings > Import in Laureo. Upload your Contacts CSV first, then Companies (Accounts). The import wizard auto-maps common field names and flags potential duplicates using similarity scoring.
Import opportunities and configure pipelines
Create pipeline stages in Laureo that mirror your Salesforce opportunity stages. Then import your Opportunities CSV and map the Stage Name column to the corresponding Laureo stage. Deal values and close dates carry over.
Connect your email and calendar
Link Gmail or Outlook in Settings > Integrations. Laureo syncs inbox, sent mail, and calendar events. Emails are auto-matched to contacts by address, replacing Salesforce Email-to-Case and Activity logging.
Verify and go live
Compare record counts between Salesforce and Laureo. Spot-check five to ten records across contacts, companies, and deals. Run a test workflow, send a test email, and then cut over your team.
