Migration steps

Export your data from Pipedrive

In Pipedrive, go to the People, Organizations, and Deals list views. Use the export button on each view to download CSV files. For activities, go to the Activities tab and export. Pipedrive also supports bulk export from Settings > Data Export.

Prepare your CSV files

Pipedrive exports are generally clean, but review them for custom field naming conflicts. Rename "Organization" to "Company" if your team uses that terminology. Remove any Pipedrive-internal ID columns you do not need.

Create your Laureo account

Sign up at app.laureo.io. Configure your organization name and invite your team. Map Pipedrive user roles to Laureo roles (Admin, Sales Manager, Sales Rep, etc.).

Import contacts and companies

Navigate to Settings > Import in Laureo. Upload your People CSV as contacts and Organizations CSV as companies. The import wizard auto-maps columns and runs duplicate detection before writing any records.

Import deals and configure pipelines

Recreate your Pipedrive pipeline stages in Laureo (or take the opportunity to simplify them). Then import your Deals CSV and map the stage column. Deal values, expected close dates, and owners transfer automatically.

Connect your email

Link Gmail or Outlook in Settings > Integrations. Laureo provides two-way email sync, automatic contact matching, and calendar integration. This replaces Pipedrive's email sync and Smart BCC.

Verify and go live

Compare record counts with your Pipedrive export. Open five to ten records and verify that custom fields, notes, and deal values match. Once confirmed, notify your team and transition from Pipedrive.

No. Contacts, companies, deals, activities, custom fields, notes, and tags all transfer via CSV. We recommend keeping your Pipedrive account active for 30 days as a safety net.
Pipedrive labels (hot, warm, cold, etc.) import as Laureo tags. You can filter, segment, and automate based on these tags just like you could with Pipedrive labels.
Pipedrive automations cannot be imported directly. Laureo has a visual workflow builder where you can recreate your automations. Most Pipedrive automations are simple stage-change triggers that take minutes to rebuild.
