Migration steps

Export your data from HubSpot

In HubSpot, go to Settings > Import & Export > Export. Select Contacts, Companies, and Deals. Download the CSV files. For email history, use the HubSpot API or export activity logs from the reporting section.

Prepare your CSV files

Review the exported CSVs and clean up any formatting issues. Remove test records, merge duplicate columns, and ensure email addresses are in a single column. Laureo accepts standard CSV with headers.

Create your Laureo account

Sign up at app.laureo.io. Set up your organization name, invite team members, and configure your roles and permissions. This takes about five minutes.

Import contacts and companies

Go to Settings > Import in Laureo. Upload your contacts CSV first, then companies. The import wizard maps columns automatically and flags duplicates using similarity scoring before any data is written.

Import deals and set up pipelines

Create your pipeline stages in Laureo to match your HubSpot stages (or redesign them). Then import your deals CSV and map the stage column to the corresponding Laureo stages.

Connect your email

Link your Gmail or Outlook account in Settings > Integrations. Laureo syncs your inbox, sent mail, and calendar. Emails are automatically matched to CRM contacts by address.

Verify and go live

Spot-check imported records, run a test email, and confirm pipeline totals match your HubSpot export. Once verified, inform your team and deactivate HubSpot.

HubSpot workflows cannot be imported directly, but Laureo has its own visual workflow builder. We recommend recreating your top 5-10 workflows manually. Most are simple enough to rebuild in an afternoon.
